Kittmaster's National Instrument Circuit Design Suite Repository
This is an alternate place to find components, models, simulation, and footprint of parts that are not found in any of the databases from NI. While the libraries have become extensive over the years, it has been identified that a lot of older parts, and many newer parts, that are just simply not available. Registered users are welcome to download/upload and share any of these things among the community. It is always up to the user to verify the results, but it has been demonstrated that there are very knowledgeable people that can produce the parts/footprint/models that are needed. You're invited to contribute to the repository or use the data within the scope of your project.
As of 12/2024, the site has once again been updated with an entirely new core operating system from Joomla v3 to v4 (v5 seamless transition soon). The main causal reason is the jump from end of life PHP 7 to 8. Remaining on v7 added a cost of $18 per month to operate the site and does not make sense to remain on an older operating system where security is at risk. Joomla v3 does not support PHP8 and therefore forced the upgrade to v4. Normally, upgrading the core an easy process, but the catch is always in the core extensions that make the site run, things like the FAQs, Uploads / Downloads, Spambot Filters, and others that are not part of the core system.
Released for operation, the user experience should remain the same. Please report issues or problems. Enjoy & Happy New Year!
